Location I only shoot on-location and love, love, love the way the beautiful outdoors combined with natural sunlight and a strong family connection make for a great picture. I have a list of recommended places we can go that include parks, hotels, lakes, downtown settings and even the beach. I welcome suggestions and ideas if you would like to try someplace different and unique! Babies For all baby and newborn sessions, I will come to your home (yeah!). I have lots of fun and sweet accessories for our session and welcome any of your favorites as well. Newborns are best photographed within the first 5-7 days of life. For maternity I suggest our session be schedule around the 7-8 month time frame. I give top scheduling priority to all my new moms and mommies-to-be. Maternity and “First Year” session packages are also available. What to Wear I get this question for almost every scheduled session….As I mentioned above, my style tends to be very bright and colorful so I always recommend a wardrobe along those lines. No need to have everyone match but if you prefer, complementing colors work great. Before every scheduled session, I will make contact via phone for a brief pre-session consultation. This is your chance to ask any questions and discuss any specific ideas you have in mind. I LOVE creativity and urge you to step outside the box! I have many props and ideas myself so dig around and see if there is anything you want to bring along to the session (boots, toys, jackets, umbrella, bubbles, family dog) and discuss with me at this time. Availability During the week all sessions are schedule on Monday-Thursday. Weekends are subject to availability. Start times will vary. Sessions are usually 1-1.5 hours in length. Special events including commercial are welcome and scheduled by request. Simple Policies I do have a few simple policies and guidelines that will be emailed to you upon booking and a standard portrait contract and picture release.
